The Kings of Summer

I was commissioned by CBS Films to create one of a handful of alt posters for the film The Kings of Summer. This was designed as a limited 24”x36” two-color screen printed poster, and was printed by my friends at VGKids.
A secondary poster design that was not printed, but was used for some interactive digital marketing.
Before I did the posters, I did a lot of pre-production concept work for the film, including these sketches of the house that the main characters build in the woods. The house in the film ended up looking very similar to these drawings.
