Jon Wilcox remembers drawing Ninja Turtles on a small chalkboard in his basement when he was four, ignoring his mother's commands to come upstairs for lunch. He is a native of the Metro Detroit area and now resides in Kalamazoo, MI with his girlfriend Erin and his cat Perl. Jon went to school at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Art & Design with a concentration in Illustration. To the horror of nearly everyone he tells, he thought that Chicago was “just okay” and is happy to be back in Michigan.
Jon is interested in many aspects of illustration and design. Currently, he's into comics and screen printing. Jon also has experience with things like photography, letterpress printing, design for print and the web, animation and motion graphics, and even more, less-related persuits.
